Chinderah And Fingal Head

Fishing in Northern New South Wales

semi-overcast

My cousin and I went for a day trip down the coast of NSW to fish and wander around. It was very windy and cold, but we did catch a few small bream and whiting on the Tweed River, Chinderah. Later, we went to Fingal Head cliffs where my cousin's cousin was married the week before and saw the flower petals still there.

Nudgee Beach

A day bumming about Nudgee Beach

sunny

I occasionally drive to Nudgee Beach just to enjoy the sun and the water. There is not much fish here, though I did catch a decent catfish after a storm. Usually you'll catch tiny bream and whiting off the pontoon, and the beach flats go on for ages, so in low tide you can walk a km or two out to sea, probably. There is also a walk around the mangroves which is nice and peaceful. I shot this video soon after I got my new Nokia N73 and tried out the camera.
